IIRI will now be offering the Plustek
range of Optibook scanners. These are a
range of Library, Office and Home book
scanners.
These will complement the i2s scanners to
allow IIRI to offer a complete range to
cover most customers requirements.
IIRI move to Kofax
for Document Scanning
Aug 2008
We have now installed
Kofax to enable faster and more reliable
document scanning. Kofax is one of the
leaders in supplying document management
systems to bureaus.
IIRI supply encrypted
data
April 2008
Due to demand from
customers (including many councils) IIRI
have now started supplying customer data
on encrypted media.
IIRI have signed up to be resellers for
the MXI Security range of encrypted
devices (Memory sticks, Hard disk, CD/DVD
etc).
If you wish to receive your data
encrypted please request when submit work.
If the data then falls into the wrong
hands you will be safe in the knowledge
that the data will be useless to them.

IIRI get 'Go
Green' status
January 2008
Merton Chamber of
Commerce have awarded IIRI with the 'Go
Green' status for increased recycling and
reduction of energy use.
The company was monitored over a two month
period. The first month was as how we had
run in the past and then the second month
was with controls in place. There was over
30% reduction in energy usage.

IIRI put 'Go
Green' plan into action
September 2007
Due to the nature of the
document scanning business IIRI's management
are very aware of the amount of energy
wasted. This includes the waster paper
generated and also energy costs involved.
IIRI have therefore recruited
help from Merton Chamber of Commerce to put
a Green Action Plan in place. Over the next
few months IIRI will strive to reduce energy
usage (both in and out of the office),
ensure more waste is recycled and also
encourage customers to be more
environmentally aware.

Public Library Conference
7th-9th November 2007, Waterford, Ireland
IIRI will be exhibiting in
partnership with DPI. On show will be the
i2s Copibook bookscanner and also film
scanning equipment.
With DPI of Ireland, IIRI will offer
superior book and film scanning equipment or
services and will be happy to discuss and
size of project.

in the paper scanning sector has led to
needing a higher quality document management
solution. Therefore IIRI are proud to
announce a partnership with Spielberg, the
creators of ScanFile and Filedirector
document management packages.

helping Councils with their planning
IImage Retrieval are currently undertaking
jobs for a number of councils to provide
digitization of Planning Records. This is
enabling councils to offer information
online to the public much more readily.
We have been scanning back records and also
are providing daily or weekly services to
scan current planning applications.
